She’s completely wrong for me.
But I’m still going to claim her as my own.
Faye St. James has only been ever my shy, reclusive next-door neighbor.
Then her house catches fire.
And then we both do—for each other.
But my life is complicated. I’m on the road for half the year playing with the Grizzlies hockey organization and I have an ex-wife who puts nightmares to shame.
Clearly, I’m in no position to fall in love.
Only…my heart seems to have a different plan.
One that means never letting Faye go.

Elise Faber does it again, the latest installment in the Grizzlies hockey series is a winner. Featuring work from home author Faye Sullivan, Captain of the San Jose Grizzlies Gray Roberts and his highly toxic ex wife Courtney, this book has more forward and backs than an NHL game. The story moved along and the supporting players were interesting enough that we want to read about them in their own books. The Grizzlies are a franchise we all are going to want to invest in.

Divorced by Number 38 is Faye St James and Gray’s heartwarming story. It’s book two in the Grizzlies Hockey Series and it was a story I quickly became invested in. Gray is trying to get his ex Courtney to sign the divorce papers but every time they come together it’s ends with a passionate encounter and no signed divorce papers….. Faye is a romance writer that keeps herself to herself but she is Gray’s neighbor and she often witnesses his encounters through the window. When her house catches fire it’s Gray who rescues her and that’s when this story gets real interesting. What follows is Gray doing whatever is needed to let his heart have what it wants and deserves. This is a well written, entertaining story that captivated and kept me turning the pages until I read the final word. I fell hard and fast for Gray and I want Faye as my new bestie but what took this book to another level was the camaraderie the Grizzlies team share.
